This well-established, Queensland-based law firm is looking for a capable and committed Wills & Estates Lawyer with 2+ years PAE to join their respected team in Brisbane or one of their additional offices. Whether you’re passionate about guiding clients through sensitive life planning or tackling estate litigation with precision and empathy, this is an opportunity to do meaningful work with people who care.

The Role

You’ll work alongside experienced senior lawyers across a broad spectrum of succession law, including:

• Estate Planning – client meetings, drafting wills, enduring powers of attorney, and memoranda of wishes
• Estate Administration – liaising with executors, beneficiaries, and stakeholders
• Estate Litigation – supporting or managing deceased estates disputes
• Practice Support – assisting with document execution, safe custody oversight, and EPOA monitoring

This role comes with strong support and mentoring, particularly from a senior Special Counsel. While you’ll have guidance when needed, you’ll also be trusted to take initiative and work independently.

What You Bring
You’re an early- to mid-career lawyer with a genuine interest in succession law and a desire to build your long-term future in this space. You’re professional, approachable, and organised, with a client-first mindset.

• 2+ years’ PAE in succession law or a genuine interest in developing in this space
• Excellent drafting, communication, and client care skills
• Confidence in managing or contributing to matters from start to finish
• A proactive attitude and ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
• A current QLD practising certificate
• If based in Brisbane – a car and licence, with willingness to attend one of their many offices for meetings
