Debt Recovery and Litigation Paralegal | Brisbane CBD Supportive Team Environment
We are seeking a skilled Debt Recovery and Litigation Paralegal to join a respected boutique law firm located in Brisbane’s CBD. This role is ideal for a career paralegal who can manage their own client files confidently and thrive in a dynamic, supportive environment.
This well-established boutique practice prides itself on a friendly, close-knit team culture and strong client relationships. They focus on delivering quality outcomes with a collaborative and professional approach.
The Role:
Reporting to senior staff and the managing partner, you will handle a broad range of debt recovery and litigation matters including bankruptcy, statutory demands, caveats, and enforcement actions. You will be expected to work independently and efficiently manage your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing debt recovery and related litigation matters
- Handling bankruptcy and insolvency actions, including statutory demands
- Managing caveats and enforcement processes
- Working with Queensland and Federal Court systems (experience with other Australian jurisdictions is advantageous)
- Maintaining strong communication with clients and stakeholders
Who We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a paralegal in debt recovery and litigation (career paralegals only)
- Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- Solid understanding of court procedures across Queensland and Federal jurisdictions
- Ability to independently manage client matters with confidence
- Positive, proactive approach and a strong team player
- Excellent communication skills
