Family Law Partner | Rare Leadership Opportunity | Remote

Location: Brisbane (with flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in QLD)
Practice Area: Family Law – Partner Level (Salary or Equity Partnership)
Firm Type: Expanding National Law Firm
Remuneration: Highly competitive + profit share + strategic growth incentives

Are you an experienced Family Law Special Counsel or Partner looking to lead a practice at a firm with serious momentum?

This is a progressive law firm with national reach. We’re seeking a Family Law Partner (or senior practitioner ready to step up) with at least 8 + years solid post-admission experience in Family Law to drive growth in their Family Law practice.

This is a rare and strategic leadership role—ideal for a senior lawyer looking to take the reins of a practice and work closely with a high-calibre partnership group in a firm that is expanding rapidly across Australia and embrace doing Family Law in a unique and personal way.

The Role:
As a Family Law Partner, you will:

  • Lead the family law practice in QLD/Brisbane, with an eye on driving further growth.
  • Help grow a team of Family Lawyers for the firm’s QLD presence.
  • Take ownership of client relationships and ongoing strategy for the practice.
  • Leverage your own referral network while collaborating with other partners in areas such as commercial law.
  • Contribute to firm-wide leadership, business development, and innovation initiatives.

What You Bring:

  • Admitted to practice law in QLD.
  • Minimum 8 + years post-admission experience in Family Law (those with many more years of experience are encouraged to apply).
  • Accredited Specialist in Family Law (highly regarded, but not essential).
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a legal team and manage complex client matters.
  • Existing client relationships and/or a portable practice (preferred but not essential).
  • Commercial mindset with the drive to grow a practice within a supportive, multi-disciplinary firm.
