We are seeking experienced and motivated Family Lawyers to join our clients across several reputable firms throughout Queensland. These permanent opportunities offer the chance to manage a diverse range of family law matters while delivering high-quality, empathetic advice to clients during some of life’s most challenging moments. You’ll be part of supportive teams committed to achieving strong outcomes and fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload including parenting, property settlements, divorce, financial agreements, child support, and domestic violence matters.
  • Provide clear, practical, and compassionate legal advice to clients.
  • Draft and prepare court documents, affidavits, agreements, and briefing counsel as required.
  • Conduct negotiations, mediations, and appear in court.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to the ongoing development of the firm.
  • Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and billing standards.

Skills & Experience:

  • Admitted Lawyer with an unrestricted practising certificate, confident in taking ownership of files and providing sound legal advice.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ PQE in family law, with solid experience across family law matters.
  • Strong advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills, with the ability to prepare high quality documentation and represent clients effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, working efficiently both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • An empathetic, professional, and client focused approach, with the capacity to support clients through sensitive and emotionally complex situations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and effective file management.
