Job Description

Looking to develop a wide-range of dynamic business-oriented legal skills and build your own practice?

3 + PQE

We’re looking for a motivated, self-starter lawyer with 3 years+PQE who is commercially minded with litigation experience.

Your work will be highly diverse – no two days are the same!

RBHM Lawyers is a boutique commercial practice providing general commercial advice, probate and conveyancing services. Our aim is to provide practical, business-oriented services and advice to our clients.  We have a wide range of clients – from big to small Australian and international companies and businesses, as well as individuals.  RBHM Lawyers has a large base of long-term loyal clients, as well as a steady flow of new clients.

You will have direct client exposure and the opportunity to work with people from a wide-range of industries, keeping your day-to-day dynamic and interesting without the long working hours typical of large corporate firms.

You will work on civil litigation matters from the Local to the Supreme Court and provide a wide range of advice – from business advice, including contractual advice and drafting, contract and business disputes and deal negotiation – to personal advice including trusts, loan agreements and personal disputes.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, ambitious and looking to contribute to the strategic direction of the firm and potentially move into a leadership role over time.

You will have a significant degree of independence and have the opportunity to work under the guidance of partner, Michael Horton, who has over 40 years’ experience.

You will be working in a small, friendly and collaborative team located a few minutes’ walk from the Metro Station in North Sydney.

We believe in a balanced work and life and regular working hours.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to build their own practice.
