A well-established and expanding disputes practice within a full service firm is seeking a Senior Associate or Special Counsel to play a key role within its litigation team.
This is a senior appointment for a litigator capable of running substantial matters, shaping strategy, mentoring junior lawyers, and acting as a trusted adviser to clients across complex commercial disputes.
The practice handles matters ranging from high-level Supreme Court proceedings through to strategically sensitive business disputes, offering genuine variety and technical depth.

The Role
You will take carriage of complex litigation matters including:
- Building and construction disputes
- Contract and misleading or deceptive conduct claims
- Trust and estate litigation
- Partnership and shareholder disputes
- Professional negligence
- Property and lease disputes
- Insolvency and debt recovery
- Defamation and reputation matters
- PPSA and product liability litigation
You will:
- Run matters end-to-end
- Develop dispute strategy and advise on risk
- Draft high-level pleadings and submissions
- Appear in court and at mediations as appropriate
About You
- Senior Associate or Special Counsel level
- Strong commercial litigation background
- Confident running complex matters independently
- Technically strong in pleadings, evidence and interlocutory practice
- Comfortable advising sophisticated clients
- Capable of mentoring junior lawyers
- Commercial, strategic and solutions-focused
