Job Description
The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (Cth) (CDPP) is seeking a Principal Federal Prosecutor (PFP) to successfully lead and manage a team of prosecutors in delivering independent, modern, effective and digitally enabled prosecution services.
About the role:
As a Principal Federal Prosecutor, you will work as part of a management team, reporting to a SES Assistant Director (AD), and will lead and manage a team of prosecutors to deliver efficient and effective prosecution legal services, build legal capability, manage resources and foster internal and external relationships. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with others to support and promote the strategic objectives of the CDPP.
You will play an important leadership role in more complex and difficult prosecutions. In addition, you will lead team efforts to identify and resolve issues early, clear roadblocks and ensure that appropriate resources are applied in a timely and efficient way to deliver better prosecution outcomes.
