Defendant Insurance Lawyer | WorkCover Focus | 1 -5 Years PAE

Are you a motivated and driven Defendant Insurance Lawyer looking for the next step in your career? With a focus on WorkCover and general insurance claims, this is the perfect opportunity for a Lawyer with 1-5 years’ experience to join a fast-growing firm that values results and personal development.

About the Role:

  • Manage a busy and rewarding caseload, with around 90% of matters in WorkCover claims
  • Advise and act for insurers, employers, and government clients
  • Take matters from early resolution strategies through to trial preparation
  • Work collaboratively with a highly experienced team including lawyers, paralegals, and admin support
  • Engage in meaningful client contact and contribute to strong commercial outcomes

Is this you?

  • 1 – 5 years PAE in insurance litigation (WorkCover preferred)
  • Defendant-side experience is ideal; strong plaintiff-side candidates with a commercial mindset are also encouraged to apply
  • Confident in managing files autonomously and conducting conciliation conferences
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a practical, solutions-oriented approach
  • Able to contribute positively to a collaborative team culture
