Family Law Paralegal | Gold Coast

A highly regarded, specialist Family Law Team are looking to appoint an experienced Paralegal to support them in their stunning Gold Coast offices. The team is busy and the standards are high, if this sounds like you – read on!

The Role
This exciting opportunity will see you working across a broad range of Family & Dispute Resolution matters, and could be the step up in your career that you’ve been waiting for! As a Paralegal you will have exposure to a broad range of interesting and high quality matters with the opportunity to work closely with talented Family Lawyers who are in demand.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Opening and closing files,
  • Legal research;
  • Court filing;
  • Electronic and hard copy file management;
  • Drafting and amending documents;
  • Compiling briefs and court documents;
  • Drafting general correspondence;
  • Filing and archiving;
  • Invoicing and billing and collections;
  • General Paralegal and Administrative support tasks as required.

About you:

Working as a Paralegal in the Family Law team, you will be expected to bring:

  • At least 2 years of experience plus working in a law firm. This firm are open to less experience with the right attitude and other legal industry experience
  • Flexibility, adaptability and reliability at all times
  • Confidence to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment;
  • A dedicated approach to your work with a desire to go above and beyond for both your clients and employer.

The successful candidate will be adaptable in their approach to work and focus their efforts into the collective success of the Family Team supporting multiple authors. If a challenge is what you seek, this role will certainly provide you variety each day.
