Responsibilities:

  • Undertaking detailed legal research
  • Preparing and drafting legal documents
  • Maintaining an up-to-date database
  • Preparing Briefs to Counsel
  • Assisting solicitors with parenting matters
  • Assisting solicitors with family property matters
  • Assisting with private client matters
  • Diary management
  • Email management
  • File management including monitoring crucial dates
  • Drafting Applications
  • Drafting Affidavit material
  • Drafting Consent Orders
  • Drafting Financial Statements

About you:

Working as a Paralegal in the Family Law team, you will bring:

  • at least 1 – 2 years of experience in family law (or similar areas) but open to more experience too
  • excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • attention to detail and a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • confidence to work in a busy Family Law team
