Job Description
Exceptional Opportunity for a Property Lawyer Ready for Real Career Growth
If you are a Property Lawyer who thrives in a fast moving environment, loves client interaction, and is excited by the idea of working within an innovative and forward thinking practice, this is the career move you have been waiting for.
About the firm
This is a highly respected residential conveyancing business that has become a clear industry leader through innovation, technology and genuine customer focus. With award nominations and continued expansion, the firm has built a reputation for delivering a smarter, more efficient way of working through cutting edge systems, automation and digital solutions. Positions here rarely become available due to low staff turnover and strong internal career pathways, making this a special opportunity for the right candidate.
The firm is now seeking an experienced Property Lawyer to join its legal team at a southside Brisbane location. This is your chance to be part of a progressive business that values leadership, service excellence and innovation.
About the role
Working closely with an experienced leadership team, you will handle a wide range of residential property transactions while being supported by a highly capable back end team. This allows you to focus on quality advice, client care and meaningful legal work rather than administrative tasks.
You will also play a key part in guiding and mentoring team members, contributing to compliance processes and assisting with training initiatives. This role is ideal for lawyers who enjoy supporting others and who take pride in delivering an exceptional client experience.
Your responsibilities will include
- Reviewing REIQ contracts and interpreting special conditions
- Identifying issues in title searches
- Acting as the primary point of contact for clients from instruction to completion
- Managing all key dates and ensuring full compliance with protocol and best practice
- Providing timely advice and updates to clients and referrers
- Signing PEXA settlements when required
- Offering support and leadership to conveyancing paralegals
- Delivering service that is accurate, proactive and consistently high quality
You will not be required to open or close files or prepare settlement figures, allowing you to focus on the work that matters most.
About you
- At least two years post admission experience in property or conveyancing
- Strong leadership qualities and a genuine interest in coaching and supporting others
- Calm under pressure with a solutions focused mindset
- Comfortable managing clients and providing clear advice
- A people centred approach and commitment to service excellence
- A current Practising Certificate
- A desire to grow, learn and contribute to an innovative team and workplace
Why join this firm
- A friendly and supportive culture with a true family feel
- Industry leading systems and technology that make your workday easier
- Significant back-end support so you can focus on higher value advisory work
- Clear career development opportunities within a growing business
- A workplace that values innovation, continuous improvement and professional development
- An environment where strong performance is recognised and rewarded
This is the perfect opportunity if you are ready to take the next step in your property law career with a firm that values its team, invests in technology and provides genuine pathways for growth.
