About the role

You will support a dedicated migration team across a broad range of visa and citizenship matters. This position suits someone who already understands the pace, structure, and expectations of migration work and can confidently contribute without needing extensive training. You will work closely with senior practitioners and play a key role in client care, document preparation, and file progression.

Your responsibilities will include

• Preparing, reviewing, and lodging visa and citizenship applications
• Drafting submissions and supporting documents for a range of migration matters
• Managing deadlines, evidence requests, and departmental correspondence
• Maintaining accurate file records and supporting clients through each stage of the process
• Liaising with internal legal staff, clients, government bodies, and external stakeholders

About you

• Proven experience as a Legal Assistant within migration law
• Ability to hit the ground running with minimal instruction
• Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail
• Confident managing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, organised, and client focused
