Are you an experienced Family Law Partner looking to lead a practice at a firm with serious momentum?

This progressive, full-service law firm with both national strength and international reach. We’re seeking a Queensland-admitted Family Law Partner (or senior practitioner ready to step up) with at least 10 years solid post-admission experience in Family Law to drive growth in their Family Law practice.

This is a rare and strategic leadership role—ideal for a senior lawyer looking to take the reins of a practice and work closely with a high-calibre partnership group in a firm that is expanding rapidly across Australia and into key international markets.

The Role:

As a Family Law Partner, you will:

• Lead the family law practice across Queensland and nationally, with an eye on international growth.
• Manage and mentor a team of family lawyers and support staff.Take ownership of client relationships and ongoing strategy for the practice.
• Work collaboratively with the other Family Law Partners.
• Leverage your own referral network while collaborating with other partners in areas such as commercial, litigation, private client, and property law to name a few areas (but not limmitted to).
• Contribute to firm-wide leadership, business development, and innovation initiatives.

What You Bring:

• Admitted to practice law in Queensland.
• Minimum 10 years post-admission experience in Family Law.
• Accredited Specialist in Family Law (highly regarded, but not essential).
• Demonstrated ability to lead a legal team and manage complex client matters.
• Existing client relationships and/or a portable practice (preferred).
• Commercial mindset with the drive to grow a practice within a supportive, multi-disciplinary firm.
