Job Description

Estates Paralegal | Specialist Litigation Firm | Gold Coast

Junior Paralegal — career development opportunity

Ready to build a real legal career not just file documents inside a respected specialist litigation firm? This is genuine hands on estates work, mentored directly by an experienced senior practitioner, in a practice known for the quality of its matters.

Our client is a well-established Gold Coast litigation firm with a strong reputation and a busy estates practice. They’re looking for a motivated Junior Paralegal to join the Estates team in a role with real variety, responsibility and room to grow.

It’s an ideal next step for a legal support professional ready to level up or a motivated law student chasing meaningful practical experience in a highly regarded litigation environment.

Why this one is worth a look

  • Direct, hands-on mentoring from an experienced estates practitioner
  • Exposure across the full estates picture, planning, administration and litigation
  • High-quality work in a respected specialist firm, not photocopying and filing
  • A genuine long-term pathway, not a stopgap role
  • Supportive, collaborative team
  • Central Gold Coast location

What you’ll be doing:
Working closely with a senior lawyer, you’ll get stuck into a broad mix of estate planning, administration and litigation matters, including:

  • Drafting correspondence, court documents and basic pleadings
  • Assisting with estate planning and administration
  • File and matter management
  • Court and registry filings
  • Legal research and document preparation
  • Liaising with clients, barristers and external stakeholders
  • Diary management and general legal support

About you

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a legal support, administration or paralegal role (law students with legal support experience and a genuine interest in estates are encouraged to apply)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Sharp attention to detail and strong organisation
  • A proactive, professional approach
  • A real interest in estate planning, administration and litigation
  • Able to juggle competing priorities in a busy practice
