About the Role:
A full-time opportunity is available in the Gold Coast OR Brisbane office for a Commercial Litigation Lawyer with more than 2 years PAE to join the expanding disputes team.
You will work closely with senior litigators on a wide range of matters across Queensland, New South Wales, federal jurisdictions, and various tribunals — with the opportunity to quickly gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting legal research and preparing memos
- Drafting pleadings, affidavits, submissions, and other court documents
- Reviewing disclosure material and preparing evidence
- Managing client communication and updates
- Preparing for trials, mediations, and hearings
- Supporting senior lawyers while developing independence
- File management, court deadlines, and diary tracking
What You Bring:
- Admission in Queensland and more than 2 years’ PAE in commercial litigation
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- A strong sense of initiative and accountability
- Attention to detail and sound legal reasoning
- A collaborative, down-to-earth attitude
