Litigation Lawyer (2–3 Years PAE)

Are you a motivated Litigation Lawyer looking to develop your career within a dynamic and growing Gold Coast firm?

We are seeking a litigation solicitor (2–3 years PAE) who is eager to build strong technical skills, gain hands-on experience across a diverse range of matters, and work closely with experienced practitioners in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

You will work closely with senior lawyers on a broad range of litigation matters, with increasing autonomy as your experience develops. This role offers exposure to commercial disputes, estate disputes, defamation, class actions, and more, providing a strong foundation for long-term career growth.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing litigation files from inception to resolution (with appropriate supervision)
• Drafting pleadings, affidavits, court documents, and legal correspondence
• Conducting detailed legal research and assisting with case strategy
• Preparing briefs to counsel
• Attending mediations, conferences, and court appearances
• Liaising with clients, counsel, experts, and other third parties
• Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and court rules
• Time recording, billing, and file management

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have:

• 2–3 years’ post-admission experience in litigation
• Strong drafting and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Confidence in dealing with clients and managing relationships
• A proactive attitude and genuine interest in developing your litigation career
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment
• Strong time management skills and ability to manage competing deadlines
