An opportunity is now available for a mid-level Personal Injury Lawyer with a min. of 3 years plus experience to join an established and highly regarded law firm with beautiful offices located in the CBD.
 
About this role…
In this role you will have the opportunity for autonomy working with clients in relation to a range of Personal Injury matters including a primary focus on WorkCover (approx. 60-65%), TAC (25%) and other PI matters. Some of your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):-

  • Client interviews and taking instructions;
  • Draft/prepare advice;
  • Manage claims/files;
  • Draft documents (e.g. applications, orders, affidavits; disclosure/discovery);
  • Attend mediations/negotiations and conciliations conferences as required;
  • Liaise with clients, lawyers, insurers, doctors, investigators, financial advisors etc.

Supported and working closely with experienced practitioners, you will further develop your skillset and have the opportunity for genuine career growth within a well respected law firm.

There is also the opportunity to bring your own Legal Assistant if you wish or they can provide you with your own very experienced and dedicated Legal Assistant to support you.
 
About the ideal candidate…
The successful candidate will be client focussed, have strong drive & enthusiasm with prior experience (min. 3 years PAE) in managing plaintiff personal injury matters, together with a positive ‘can do’ attitude and ambition to succeed.
