Salary: $100,000 to $160,000 DOE (Open to Negotiation)

The Role – Senior Family Lawyer:
In this role as a Senior Family Lawyer, you will be managing Junior Lawyers & Paralegals. You will train and mentor your team to become efficient and successful lawyers. You will also be dealing with complex cases and 40-50 files. You will have billable targets of 4.5-6 hours per day while also having the ability to manage/support your team. You will be looking at the following areas in family law;
- Divorce and separation
- Binding Financial agreements
- Complex property settlements
- Defacto and same-sex marriage
- Child support and parenting agreements
- Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations
Requirements for this role:
- Must have 5-20+ Years PAE in Family Law, preferably from private practice (other reputable law firms)
- Accredited specialist family lawyer desirable
- Ability to achieve billable targets (4.5-6 hours per day) and manage a team at the same time
- Track record of team management and developing team members
- Good attitude and willingness to work hard
