A highly regarded national law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Family Lawyer to join its Brisbane CBD team.

The Opportunity

You will work closely with an experienced Family Law Partner, gaining exposure to a broad range of complex and sensitive matters.

This is a hands-on role where you will manage your own files, provide strategic advice to clients, and play a key role within the team. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice.

Scope of Work

You will advise on a range of family law matters, including:

• Parenting and children’s matters
• Property settlements and financial disputes
• Financial agreements
• Divorce and separation matters
• Court proceedings and dispute resolution

This role offers a strong mix of technical, advisory and client-facing work, with exposure to contested matters and court processes.

About You

• Minimum 5+ years PAE in Family Law
• Strong experience across both parenting and property matters
• Confident managing files with minimal supervision
• Experience in contested court proceedings
• Excellent drafting and communication skills
• Ability and willingness to mentor junior team members
• Professional, empathetic, and client-focused approach
