About the role

In this role, you will provide strategic and practical tax advice to clients across a range of industries and jurisdictions, playing a key part in delivering high-quality legal solutions. You will work closely with clients, senior legal professionals, and cross-functional teams to address complex tax matters and ensure compliance with evolving tax legislation.

About the team

This is a boutique team focused in Corporate, Commercial and Tax. With a genuine team focus, evidence by a team based budget over traditional individual billings, this is a place that prioritises the delivery of quality client service.

What you'll be doing

Providing comprehensive tax advice to private clients across:

• CGT
• Tax restructures and rollovers
• Small business concessions
• State based tax work

About your experience

• A degree in law with admission to legal practice
• As this is an exciting growth role, this firm is looking to meet with Tax Lawyers at any level - whether you have pre admission experience in private client tax law or post admission experience in Tax Law, your application is welcomed
• Recent experience in Australian tax law
• Excellent legal research and writing skills, with the ability to produce clear and persuasive tax advice
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when dealing with complex tax issues
• The ability to work autonomously whilst contributing effectively to a collaborative team environment
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax concepts to clients
• Proficiency with legal research tools and software systems
