Senior Associate – Commercial Property

Job Description

As a result of a growing pipeline of work Cooper Grace Ward’s Property, Planning and Environment team is looking to hire an experienced Senior Associate to join our team in Brisbane.

Our industry recognised lawyers have the strength, depth, sector knowledge and jurisdictional reach to provide the highest quality advice on all aspects of commercial property transactions.

The Role

The team works for an established client base of property developers, owners (including family office), private investors, landlords, project managers, large and small corporations, and government entities across all industry sectors.  You will provide pragmatic and clear advice to assist our clients with the day-to-day management and operation of their portfolios including:

• Property acquisition and sales of commercial, retail, industrial and rural properties
• Leasing and management of commercial, industrial real estate and small / large scale shopping centres
• Commercial advice, including advice on all types of contracts and agreements
• Work closely with the planning, development and other teams as required.

Essential Experience:

• 5+ years’ PAE
• Strong client service orientation
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously and with commercial nous
• Team player and dedicated to assist in the development of the team and workgroup
• True technical expert and lifelong learner
• Strong academic background
• Enthusiasm, passion and a sense of fun.
