Family Lawyer | Boutique Practice | Advance Your Career

Imagine working in a family law practice where you don’t get lost in the ‘big firm’ environment… and, where you can thrive and progress in a friendly, formidable team that strives to provide every single client with the highest levels of service.

Hartley Family Lawyers is looking for a Family Lawyer with 2+ years of experience to join our growing boutique family law practice. If you’re looking for rewarding career growth within a small, ambitious team, we would love to hear from you.

The HFL team is built upon the values of integrity, honesty, inclusivity and high-quality outcomes. You’re the candidate we’re looking for if you know that, much like every family is different, so too is every family law matter. Afterall, family law disputes are not limited to children, property, and divorce – they also include the emotions and personal elements of everyone involved.

Are you genuinely interested and passionate about family law? Are you empathetic towards clients yet able to deliver objectivity when required? Are you striving to move forwards in your career and want to build your own ‘brand’ while enhancing the reputation of our firm? We want to hear from you…

What’s on offer

You’re the perfect candidate if you are experienced in running your own family law files and are looking for a role where you can work on a range of matters including all aspects of property and financial settlements and parenting arrangements.

The following incentives will be included in your package:

  • Extended annual leave of five (5) weeks per year (six [6] weeks for senior associate level);
  • Flexibility (including the ability to work from home when needed, for example, to help with work-life balance);
  • Remuneration above market level (dependent upon previous experience);
  • Payment for all attendances at seminars/conferences (both state and national) and other educational events that assist you in growing your expertise and abilities;
  • Dedicated full support for you to grow your brand and identity (including extensive market and business development program that not only assists the firm but also assists you to grow your reputation);
  • Supportive work environment and extensive precedents and file management systems.

Our employment contracts are the gold standard in remuneration, flexibility, and advancement of your career.

If you meet the following criteria, we would love to hear from you:

  • You have a minimum of 2+ years post-admission experience (up to senior associate) in family law.
  • You have strong technical knowledge of family law legislation and court practice/procedures in the Family/Children’s/Federal Circuit courts.
  • You possess strong drafting, negotiation, and advocacy skills with high attention to detail.

Does this sound like the opportunity you have been waiting for? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
