Skills & responsibilities

You will be a Litigation Lawyer at the 6-8 year PAE level who has had top-tier or mid-tier litigation training.  You may also have some in-house experience too.  Exposure to some employment law will be plus.

This exciting new role

Will see you report to the General Counsel but also work closely in a team which includes a Senior Employment Lawyer and Director of Complaints Resolution Unit.   

Provide strategic legal advice regarding the management of litigation, dispute resolution, drafting pleadings, appearing in Court and briefing and instructing Counsel where necessary.  You may also brief out to external legal service providers.    The disputes are varied – administrative law, privacy, confidentiality, anti-discrimination, contracts, trade practices and employment law.  Also advise on regulatory compliance, including freedom of information GIPA.
