  • Remuneration: $112,679 – $132,832 FTE + 17% super and annual leave loading
  • Location: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible working)

Why Your Role Matters

We are currently seeking to fill multiple positions at Lecturer level (Level B) in the Faculty of Law & Justice.

As a Lecturer you will contribute to the Faculty’s teaching programs, conducting research, engaging in the activities of the Faculty and carrying out the duties of a Lecturer in your field of expertise. Appointees will be expected to develop and maintain a strong program of individual research and to participate actively in the Faculty’s research culture more generally.

We welcome applications from emerging scholars with a capacity to teach in:

  • dispute resolution
  • employment law
  • evidence
  • global & public law
  • property law
  • equity & trusts, and/or
  • torts.

These positions report to the relevant Head of School and have no direct reports.
Positions are being offered as full-time, however there may be flexibility for the right candidate.

About you

Skills and Experience

  • A degree in Law or a related discipline, and relevant work experience. A PhD is desirable.
  • Capacity for high-quality research publications and clear research plans.
  • Demonstrated capacity to teach effectively at tertiary level, including an ability and interest in developing and implementing innovative teaching methods.
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively and contribute to the School and Faculty level service and engagement activities.
  • Evidence of the capacity to support and inspire students from diverse backgrounds and support student equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives
