  • Remuneration: $112,679 – $132,832 FTE + 17% super and annual leave loading
  • Location: Kensington NSW (Hybrid Flexible working)

Why Your Role Matters:

We are currently seeking to fill multiple Education Focussed (EF) positions at Lecturer (Level B) level in the Faculty of Law & Justice.

As an EF Lecturer you will contribute to enhancing the Faculty’s teaching programs and engagement activities and for carrying out the duties of a Lecturer in your field of expertise. As an EF Lecturer you will successfully drive educational excellence within the teaching and learning communities of their School and the Faculty.

 

We welcome applications from emerging scholars with a capacity to teach in any field, but we are particularly interested in:

  • dispute resolution
  • employment law
  • evidence
  • global & public law
  • property law
  • equity & trusts and/or
  • torts.

These positions report to the relevant Head of School and have no direct reports.

Positions are being offered as full time however there may be flexibility for the right candidate.

 

About you

Skills and Experience

  • A degree in Law or a related discipline, and relevant work experience. A PhD is desirable.
  • Actively stays up to date with discipline knowledge and professional development
  • Demonstrated capacity in teaching and learning design, development and delivery at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, including experience with educational technologies and online delivery methods
  • Evidence of capacity for effective teaching and a passion for educational excellence (e.g. relevant discipline-based curriculum design and development at a variety of levels and scales)
  • Evidence of highly developed interpersonal and organisational skills interpersonal and communication skills, and the capacity to work collaboratively and contribute to the School and Faculty level service and engagement activities.
