About the role

We are seeking a full-time junior lawyer to become a Tenant Advisor and join our growing team of professionals. Working directly with a other Advisors and Directors, your responsibilities at first would include:

  • Part of the Tenant Advisory Team with commercial office premise brief
  • Property research and reporting
  • Preparation and creation of reports and briefs for clients summarising suitable premises options and liaising with agents as appropriate
  • Coordinate and attend inspections of shortlisted buildings with clients and agents
  • Requesting and negotiating proposals for premises options with supervision as appropriate.
  • Financial modelling (including NPV and cash flow models) and analysing detailed financial proposals from landlords
  • Reviewing and summarising lease documentation. Liaising with legal service providers.
  • Reporting and tracking of internal and broader market activity and deals

As we have done previously, we expect the individual to grow very quickly and take on broader responsibilities once they are confident, including management of their own client work, staff oversight and business development in due course.

About you

Ideally you will have graduated with a degree, and:

  • Have a keen interest in the CBD commercial property markets Australia-wide, with desire to grow further in the industry
  • Good written and oral communication skills, with previous Microsoft Office experience
  • Comfortable with financials and proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Detailed and hard-working
  • A willingness to give anything a go and take ownership of tasks
  • Enjoys contributing to a team, in a professional manner, in a fun and learning environment
