Senior Associate / Special Counsel – Building & Construction – sign on bonus!

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Building and Construction Litigation Lawyer based in Sydney with the capability to run files autonomously who is interested in building their practice.

We are also seeking an Associate level Solicitor based in Sydney to assist our Solicitors in Sydney and Newcastle.

About You

You are a specialist Commercial Litigation Lawyer with a focus on Building and Construction disputes. You will have an established practice or are ready to take the next step to build your own practice in Building and Construction law.

You will have experience in Security of Payment Claims and Adjudications and Commercial and Home Building Disputes in all Courts and NCAT.

Ideally you have, or are interested in obtaining, a Specialist Accreditation in Commercial Litigation.

To be successful in this role you will also need:

• at least 7 years PAE,
• to be able to work autonomously and as part of a team with the ability to manage your own case load,
• a strong desire to grow your practice, contribute to the firm’s success and deliver an exceptional client experience,
• strong legal technical, drafting and advisory skills,
• the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain high-level attention to detail, and
• the ability to build and maintain positive client, team member and referral relationships.

You will work closely with our Senior team to service our Sydney based clients’ while being supported by a strong brand, existing client base, comprehensive marketing strategy and an experienced team.
