Job Description

The Australian Government is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated candidates to fill a professionally rewarding role as a Member (Level 2) of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for a full-time appointment of up to two years.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the most significant reform of the federal system of administrative review in decades.

Applicant information

The majority of the appointees will work primarily in the Migration and Refugee Division of the Tribunal. Some appointees will work primarily in the National Disability Insurance Scheme Division or the Social Services and Child Support Division. A merit list from this process may be used to fill other vacancies that arise in the next 12 months.
