Appointment of Members

The Australian Government is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated candidates to take up professionally rewarding roles as Members of the new Administrative Review Tribunal (ART). The ART will replace the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT). This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the new system of administrative review in Australia.

Expressions of interest are invited from suitably qualified persons who wish to be considered for appointment for up to five years on a full-time, part-time or sessional basis.

Applicant information

Like the AAT, the ART will review decisions made under more than 400 Commonwealth Acts and instruments, including in the areas of child support, workers’ compensation, social security, the NDIS, migration and refugee visas, taxation, security and veterans’ entitlements. Positions will be available in all States and Territories of Australia.
