Our family law practice is seeking a confident, self-starting and driven family lawyer with 5+ years post-admission experience to further develop their career.
The role:
As a Senior Family Lawyer at Shanahan Family Law, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through some of life’s most challenging moments with empathy and expertise. You will build and maintain client relationships to a high standard. Your primary focus will be on providing compassionate legal counsel and advocacy in various family law matters, including divorce applications, contested and consensual property matters, contested and consensual parenting matters and domestic violence applications.
What You’ll Do:
Client-Centered Advocacy: Advocate for our clients’ best interests with a deep understanding of their unique needs and concerns.
Holistic Legal Solutions: Provide more than just comprehensive legal solutions tailored to each client’s circumstances. Focus on achieving favorable outcomes while minimizing stress and conflict to impact a positive client experience.
Empathetic Guidance: Offer compassionate support and guidance to clients during emotionally challenging times, ensuring they feel heard, respected, and empowered.
Strategic Representation: Develop and execute effective legal strategies to navigate complex family law cases, both in and out of the courtroom.
Collaborative Approach: Collaborate with our team of dedicated legal professionals to deliver exceptional service and support to our clients.
What You’ll Bring:
Extensive Experience: A minimum of 5 years experience practicing family law, with a demonstrated track record of success in handling diverse cases.
Empathy and Compassion: A genuine desire to make a positive impact in clients’ lives and a commitment to treating them with care, respect, and understanding.
Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of family law statutes, regulations, and procedures, coupled with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Effective Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts in a clear and accessible manner.
Team Player: A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
