Argon Law is a highly respected boutique legal practice that has operated in Maroochydore, in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, for over 10 years. The firm has an established loyal client base and enjoys a busy and consistent workflow.

The firm seeks a high calibre Commercial and Property Lawyer with the desire to practice law in a friendly and cohesive team environment. We are seeking a candidate who wishes to experience professional fulfillment with a genuine desire to provide satisfaction and assistance to our clients, while working with an exceptional team of support staff

What you will do:

This superb position will see you responsible for managing existing commercial and property law matters, as well as generating work from an established and growing client base and your own referral sources. If you also have estate planning experience, your application will be very highly regarded. You will work with a high degree of autonomy and will be given full support and every opportunity to develop your own professional profile in the region.

You will act for a range of clients, including small to medium-sized businesses and have access to established referral networks. You will provide advice on business sales and purchases, corporate structuring issues, and general commercial and property law matters. The capacity to also handle estate planning matters will be seen as an attractive bonus.

What you will bring to our firm:

Located in our Maroochydore office, the successful applicant will ideally have:

• a minimum of 6 years post-admission experience as a Solicitor;
• a very high level of competency in general commercial and property law;
• exceptional communication skills;
• a strong work ethic and solid employment history;
• team player mentality and work cohesively with all levels of staff
• an interest in building client relationships and the ability to generate work from the firm’s existing clients, as well as working with the marketing department to identify potential growth opportunities.

A crucial element of your success in this role will be the desire to be part of a growing practice and to make a sizeable contribution to the firm’s success. In doing so you will be provided with the opportunity to cultivate and foster new business relationships.
