Attention all procurement professionals and probity experts! Procurement ACT seeks to fill a crucial role as director within its dedicated Probity Advisory Services team. In this capacity, and together with the Senior Director of Probity Advisory Services, you serve as the lead authority on probity matters. Your objective? Providing customer focussed, timely accurate and practical probity advice to support procuring entities to meet their legislative requirements relating to probity.

Here’s a succinct overview of your primary responsibilities:

Provision of ad-hoc probity-related counsel to ACT Government agencies

  • Functioning as a probity advisor for procurements spanning across ACT Government agencies
  • Facilitation of referrals of ACT Government agencies to external probity advisors, auditors, and legal advisors
  • Delivery of presentations, training sessions, and other capacity-building endeavours tailored for ACT Government agencies

Notes: A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. This position is based in a workplace designed for activity-based working (ABW). Under ABW arrangements, officers will not have a designated workstation/desk.
