About our client…
This is an exceptional opportunity for a self-motivated and passionate Property & Development Lawyer to join the Melbourne office of a long-standing and highly regarded Victorian Law Firm servicing Melbourne, the surf coast and South Australia.

About this role… 
As part of an established Property law practice, primarily you’ll be responsible for providing legal advice in relation to a variety of Property & Development matters eg. Sales & Acquisitions, Retirement Villages, Off-The-Plan and land developments advising public and private clients from property developers, owners corporations, tenants, farmers, trustees and more.
  
Some of your responsibilities will include:-  

  • assisting clients with a wide range of property law matters including those mentioned above and Adverse possession, Duties, GST and CGT withholding, Land tax, Owners Corporation, Land development, including subdivisions, covenants and easements;
  • building & growing the practice further through networking and marketing initiatives;
  • mentoring those less experienced around you.

About you…
Our client is seeking an experienced & passionate Property Lawyer at Senior Associate/Special Counsel level with the following attributes:-

  • Circa 7+ years post admission Property law experience;
  • A self-starter with a friendly, pro-active team approach;
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong client service focus;
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritise to manage competing priorities & timelines;
  • Able & willing to share your expertise/mentor less experienced colleagues
  • A keen sense of commerciality.
