About our client….
Our client is a long standing, highly reputable and thriving CBD law firm that is large enough for you to specialise in the areas you enjoy most:- Succession Planning, including Personal (Estate) Planning and Business Succession. As a senior lawyer, you will be heading up this well established practice area, providing mentoring and guidance to a mid level lawyer whilst having excellent legal admin support, as well as firm wide resourcing.

You will be walking into a well established succession planning practice, combined with a steady and regular referral source from Accountants and Financial Planners alike. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their clients’ succession plans

About this role…
As an experienced practitioner (envisage min. 5 years) you will become a key player in this firm and will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the continued success of this practice, whilst working on complex estate planning matters.

Here you will be able to:-

  • Work on intricate estate planning matters that challenge and inspire you, including advising on setting up and maintaining various asset structures and asset protection vehicles such as testamentary trusts, family trusts and other complicated trust structures 
  • Advise high net worth individual clients on a variety of asset protection and succession matters, both from an estate planning and business point of view.  
  • Collaborate with a supportive team in a stimulating and fast-paced environment
  • Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their clients’ succession plans
  • Extensive client liaison and developing/fostering strong professional relationships; 

About you…..
To secure this unique opportunity you will have previous experience (Min. 5 years) in a similar role and other valued attributes including:-  

  • Demonstrated expertise in estate planning and succession planning matters
  • Ability to communicate complex legal matters effectively 
  • Excellent communication/client management skills, a pragmatic & outcome focussed approach;
  • Strong drive, enthusiasm, integrity and commercial awareness;
  • Well developed drafting & analytical skills;
  • Ability to work autonomously, proactively & efficiently to manage often competing time frames.

**An attractive salary package commensurate with experience will be negotiated** Flexible working options including WFH will be considered **
