Skills & experience

You will be a General Counsel with corporate, commercial and property experience.  You will preferrably have knowledge of franchising and retail leasing legislation.

Your new role

Will see you reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and lead and manage a small legal team of six (6) including two Senior Legal Counsel (one who is part-time), two junior Legal Counsel and two (2) para-legals. 

As part of the Leadership team of seven (7) members, you will understand the relevant State-based leasing and franchise legislation; assist in setting governance protocols that align with the Franchising Code; establish an efficient system to manage documents and review existing Agreements; and manage the dispute resolution process ensuring minimum exposure.
