Owing to client demands this highly reputable firm is now looking to appoint an experienced Property & Commercial Lawyer, with some client following, 5yrs+ PQE who can demonstrate a passion for their chosen field of expertise. Joining their busy commercial and property practices, you will become in pivotal team member servicing high quality, corporate private enterprise clients operating across varied industry sectors. Working on broad ranging commercial matters, no two days are likely to be the same!
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Mergers and acquisitions, share sale/purchase, sale and purchase of businesses;
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating retail and commercial leases and licences;
- Franchising;
- Corporate business structures (partnerships, trusts, incorporations);
- Corporate advisory, governance and compliance;
- Contract drafting and due diligence;
- General corporate and commercial agreements and advice ;
- Privacy, terms of trade and procurement;
- Commercial and residential conveyancing;
- Complex property matters; and
- Subdivisions and building developments.
- a Lawyer with 5+ years’ property and commercial law experience, and some client following;
- commercially savvy & pragmatic;
- dedicated and driven to achieve positive client solutions and results;
- a great communicator (both written and verbal) with excellent attention to detail particularly in document preparation;
- able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
